PUBLIC HEALTH TECHNOLOGY
COURSE DESCRIPTION:
Public health programs are organized efforts designed to prevent disease, promote health, and extend life expectancy for communities, populations, and societies. These programs focus on addressing various health challenges and disparities through education, intervention, research, and policy-making.
This HND program aims to address the global need for international standard Public Health Technicians by producing well-rounded practitioners with a deep understanding of community health, advanced patient care, and public health services. Upon completion, graduates will be registered as Public Health Technicians, empowered to make a meaningful impact in reducing mortality and morbidity associated with various diseases, and sicknesses and providing critical care in society.

Requirement for Admission:
Candidates must present NECO/WAEC/GCE/NABTEB results demonstrating five credits in the following subjects: Mathematics, English, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics, obtained in no more than two sittings OR other science-related subjects.
